Math Path
An Adaptive Arcade provides personalized math practice with engaging games, tailored feedback, and automatic grading for teachers.
Because Each Student Is Different
Teachers face many post-pandemic challenges, particularly the wide range of abilities in their classrooms. The latest National Assessment of Educational Progress shows that math proficiency has fallen to levels seen in the late 1990s, with students having different gaps that hinder their ability to learn new material. Zipline’s Adaptive Arcade addresses this issue. Simply enroll your students and set their practice time. Our system assesses each student’s strengths and weaknesses by domain, even moving them back in grade levels if needed. The assessment is broken into 5-minute chunks, after which students follow a personalized path through lessons designed to fill past gaps or advance further in their journey. With optional instructional videos, engaging games, and tailored feedback, students can improve their skills while having fun.
Because Guided Practice Helps
A key innovation of the Adaptive Arcade is its tailored feedback system. Instead of simply telling students whether they’re right or wrong, the Arcade breaks each problem into steps. If a mistake is made, the system stops, explains the error, and guides the student to correct it before moving on. This ensures students learn from their mistakes and improve their skills. If further help is needed, instructional videos are available for every skill to ensure full understanding.
Because Gaming Is Fun
We call it the Adaptive Arcade because it’s truly fun. Each skill is paired with engaging games, allowing students to race, shoot asteroids, or even play with friends while they practice. By combining essential practice with real enjoyment, the Arcade motivates students to participate eagerly, turning practice time into an exciting experience rather than a chore.
Because The Grading Can Be Done For You
The Arcade is designed with teachers in mind. With a simple toggle, it can automatically assign, grade, and upload assignments to your Zipline’s gradebook on scheduled days. After you set the practice time, the Arcade calculates the number of problems a student should complete based on their performance and average time per problem. Since all problems must be answered correctly through our feedback system, grades are determined by the percentage of problems completed, giving you effortless classwork or homework grades.
